I want to start highlighting authors that are my auto-buy authors. I love their work and will buy and read everything they publish.

This week on my socials I highlighted the author of the most amazing high stakes fantasy reads, Charity F. Nelson.

What I love about her work is the fact that her writing style flows nicely while throughly describing setting, characters, and scenes. She writes the best character dynamics with tension, mystery, and all the feels. I love how the plot is complete, but fast paced so you don’t feel like anything drags and you don’t find plot holes.

The Keyholder of Time is the first book of hers I read, and it immediately became a top favorite of mine. I am dying to read book two when it comes out this July!!

Welcome to my new obsession 😁 This book took my heart and soul on an epic adventure right along side Melina that had me staying up late to finish the story!! I could not put this down and already want to read it again. This is easily one of my top favorite books I’ve read. If I could give it more than five stars, I would!! A gripping fantasy with dark mysteries, power, betrothals, corruption, gods, suspense, battles, and budding romance.
I immediately fell for the FMC with her secret power giving her purpose and her heart full of sacrificial love to everyone. The story and plot were well-written with great depth. I loved how everything started coming together early on, but kept you guessing until the very last second. The twists and turns and surprises around every corner. The characters were well developed and the dynamic between characters made it an incredible read. This book is a unique and beautiful story of its own and gave me some feels of From Blood and Ash. This is perfect for fans of From Blood and Ash and ACOTAR. @charityfnelson created a true masterpiece here and I cannot wait to read book two.
