I truly enjoyed this urban fantasy because it felt like all the high fantasy Romantasy books I love. It takes place in a modern time, but with the feels of fantasy-style royalty structured in courts around the world, driven by magic and powers. You get the emotions and uncertainty of young love, twin sisters battling for a throne, long life spans, and lots of unknowns with twists and turns.
I’m excited to read book two and see what happens next!
