I loved the banter and forced proximity between a long-protected princess with a big heart and the assassin sent to kill her. Their journey is full of dangerous adventure filled with tropes like one tent and one bed. The sweet tenderness and the indecision among the duty versus love kept me wanting to read more. It took a just little bit for me to get used to the writing style, but I really ended up loving this story.
