🙌🏻 This is an amazing fantasy with an epic quest! You get portal travel, political intrigue, pilgrimage, and dragons! I really enjoyed following the MMC on his quest to save his people. You spend a great deal of the book on his pilgrimage with challenges along the way.
If you’re a fantasy fan, but want a nice slow burn romance subplot, this is the perfect book. It was nicely paced where I felt like I was in this world and I’m the events. Nothing felt rushed, so you get the time to fully immerse in each moment. Oh the moments when the slowwwww burn romance starts burning ❤️🔥 such tender and powerful love in that growing bond. The MMC is purely good and I loved following along his journey. I am a very picky dragon book critic, and this is now a favorite dragon read on mine!
