Book two

This is another adorable mafia romance in the series. I love the over protective MMC. The caretaking, the “fake dating”. The couple and the events remind me of some scenes from the movie The Proposal. It was fun. I love how dynamic the books in this series are with a few plot lines going on at the same time to add depth to the story. The FMC is sassy and stubborn, so it was fun to watch the banter and the blooming romance.

All the sweetness of a small town romance set in a mafia world. I love the FMC finding strength to overcome her brokenness and the trauma from her past. And I just adored the MMC being there to prove to her she is worthy and able to heal 🥹 This one had even more exciting suspense than the last books and I really enjoyed the side plots going with a mystery character, raising teenagers, and dangerous but sweet men that respect ladies.
