This one brings all the feels 🙌🏻 That banter and tension between August and Wren 🫠 They were my favorite characters to follow, but I truly loved all the characters.
The Magical afterlife academy was a unique and captivating setting. You get a cut throat competition filled with suspense and mystery. The characters are stabby and witty and I loved them 🙌🏻 The rivalry to lovers, and rivals to found family made this a read I enjoyed coming back to each time I opened the book.
That ending 🥺 I NEED book two!!
You also get gothic feels that remind me of Wednesday.
The writing is incredible. Descriptive, interesting, and unputdownable The Audio is fantastic like a graphic audio level of quality. 10/10
The academy with magic lessons and houses gives some Harry potty feels and Fate Winx saga feels.
Multi pov that flows nicely and makes sense with the story. I don’t usually follow multi pov well, but I loved how each pov was a well developed character with their own personality.
