The number of times I swooned in this dark and gritty mafia romance is just ridiculous 🫠 But, I mean, if you throw in a ‘take her capt!ve to protect her’ plus add in a caretaking trope with sweet tender moments… I’m a goner. This is the perfect read for dark romance girlies who also love a little taste of that small town feel. Honestly, I’m probably going to turn around and reread this immediately.

This is a dark and heavy read with the FMC taken by a local organized crime group. You’re going to feel like the MMC is not redeemable at first, but he is. The dark to light is a slow burn to that HEA.
