This was such a fun read, and I had a hard time putting it down. Okay so I loved the MMC from the very first page. He gives Batman kind of vibes, if Batman lived in an apartment complex instead of a mansion and was part of a group like the avengers (I know I’m mixing comic groups here, but it’s the best comparison) Love the protective cinnamon roll, fated mates, and forbidden romance tropes here. The FMC is sweet and a little sassy. There is a good deal of suspense and mystery in the story which I loved. This was such a great pallet cleanser from the HEAVY world building I’ve been reading lately and I devoured in within 24 hours.
