The struggle of mutual pining vs accepting duty for the betterment of the kingdoms gets a little messy. And there is a fun twist that makes it even more intriguing.
This book is absolutely wonderful. You get so much yearning and banter. I LOVED Ashlyn and how sassy and feisty and rebellious she is. I completely fell for Fyn as a side character in the last duology and he really got to shine in this book. These two really got themselves in a pickle and I enjoyed every second of it. I am so curious to see how their story continues in book two!!
You get all the high fantasy romantasy feels with political intrigue between the fae and human courts.
I highly recommend reading the Starwoven Duology first.
