Crowned in Cinders and Ash by Tasha Creed

Romantasy | Dragon Shifters

This book devoured my weekend 🤭 I love how Tasha writes possessive fated mates, and her broody dragon shifter MMC did not disappoint. I love that the dragon shifter and his princess met when they were young and fell in love. And although they were completely separated, never stopped loving each other.

This dragon shifter made it his life’s mission to become the most feared and powerful king so when it came tome for the girl he loved to be married off in a political arrangement, he was the only option her father could take. You almost get some billionaire romance style vibes from this MMC (which is always my favorite). There is so much yearning and tension here as the princess doesn’t know he is the boy she loved before. I really enjoyed how the political intrigue added so much to the tension of their relationship.

You get sweet and loving caretaking from a brute of a warlord who is only a cinnamon roll for her… and became that brute he never wanted to be just so he could have her and keep her safe.

The princess is a soft FMC who is caring and lovable, and finds her own strength through his love freeing her.

This might be my favorite book from Tasha so far! I LOVE broody possessive dragon shifters 🫠 and this did not disappoint! This is a romance focused story with an intriguing court politics plot.
