This book completely ruined my sleep schedule and my work schedule 🤭 The tension and suspense and swoon. I couldn’t put it down.
I really enjoyed this grumpy x sunshine couple! He speaks in grunts and grumbles and she enters every conversation bright eyed and wanting to talk. And the way this relationship transforms through the book was absolute perfection. I’m so in love with this couple.
You get a broken to healing story in both the FMC and the MMC with lots of little moments that show how much they care. He might seem grumpy on the outside, but getting his POV tells a different story.
I loved getting to spend time in the Alaskan wild with the FMC who is a wildlife photographer on a mission to capture her next big picture. She captures something else which puts her life and others in danger. You get really good suspense in this and all the best touch her and d!e vibes from the MMC.
There is a really nice sibling relationship and friendship in this, too. I loved getting a good friendship between the FMC and the MMC’s sister. And thanks to a marriage of convenience situation you get some really great My Wife moments.
