I love this sasssy FMC and her friend group. This is a fun story of self discovery that reminds me of Bonnie Bennett in TVD. I really enjoyed her having a familial. I LOVED having a mysterious MMC show up in town. And the tension of waiting to see what he will be to the FMC.
You get a contemporary urban setting with a town of close people.
The MMC starts out as mysterious and a little broody, but quickly becomes a protector ally. The friends work together with the council giving this a really nice found family trope and an exciting fast moving plot point.
