Okay, I am so in love with this romantasy with its beautiful celestial magic system and the sweet marriage of convenience filled will protective caretaking. The whimsy of the magic system put a lovely spin on the magic we love in a romantasy world. I loved how the stars are royalty and the dynamic between the stars and the human world ran by a human king. This sweet allies to lovers was more adorable than I could have ever imagined with genuine care between them and stolen kisses that meant more than the show they put on for the courts. And, the sweet sacrificial romance. 💞 The twists. Oh the twists 🥺

This book left me staring, jaw dropped 🥺 in the best way though! I don’t even know what to say about that ending except that I don’t think I was breathing the last 10% of the book 🤭 I’m going to need book two immediately!
